King oyster mushrooms

King oyster mushrooms, in addition to being extremely healthy, can stay fresh for several weeks longer than other related oyster mushrooms due to their thick flesh.

Oyster mushrooms are rich in protein (up to 30% in dry matter), B-complex vitamins and contain significant amounts of lovastatin molecules that naturally lower cholesterol.

Their alcoholic extract stimulates at least two molecular mechanisms that interfere with the growth of colon and breast cancer without significant affect to normal cell tissue, while insoluble beta glucan and glycoprotein protein alarm immunity thus strengthening the body’s natural defences.
